Conception de machine de fabrication additive métallique : Le projet d’entreprise SOTIMECO est né en 2017 du savoir-faire et de la grande expérience de son dirigeant-fondateur Thierry COUSIN dans le domaine de la mécanique de précision et de la machine-outil. SOTIMECO est une société qui se distingue par son offre de très haute technologie et se compose de 4 experts en ingénierie et 3 partenaires (laser, optique et FAO). La technologie d’impression 3D métal D.E.D. repose sur une source laser qui est utilisée pour fusionner des matériaux en les fondant au fur et à mesure qu’ils sont projetés : la matière, une poudre ou un fil métallique, est déposée par une buse pilotée par un bras robot à 5 axes pour former par couches successives des pièces en métal fonctionnelles. Développée durant plusieurs années en collaboration avec l’ENSAM de Bordeaux, la buse brevetée du procédé SOTIMECO apporte une précision unique du jet de transport de matière. La GICAM 1500 P/W est une imprimante 3D industrielle métal qui offre un volume d’impression de 1500 x 500 x 500 mm.
