Le savoir-faire technologique d’OliKrom dans le domaine des matériaux intelligents thermochromes, photochromes, piézochromes, solvatochromes... couvre un large champ d’applications : Structural Health Monitoring (SHM), applications MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul), modification de l’apparence visuelle, détection de choc, détection de dépassement de température, détection de gaz, anti-contrefaçon, amélioration de la visibilité… OliKrom est à la fois : - concepteur (R&D externalisée pour ses clients, création de pigments intelligents) - formulateur (matrice, dépôts, caractérisation) - producteur industriel (encres, peintures, mélanges-maîtres, vernis, résines...) Par son expertise rare en science des matériaux, OliKrom accompagne chaque année 70 grands industriels de tout secteur dans leur démarche d'innovation. OliKrom s’appuie sur une équipe pluridisciplinaire de docteurs, ingénieurs et techniciens sur son site industriel de 1600m2 situé à Pessac. Il comporte 3 laboratoires et 1 atelier de dépôt : - laboratoire R&D de conception de pigments (rotavapeur, four, cuve, étuve...) - laboratoire R&D de formulation encre, peinture, vernis (Tricylindres, broyeurs, disperseurs...) - laboratoire d’analyses et de caractérisation : réflectivité, spectromètres, spectrofluorimètre, chambre d'essai climatique de vieillissement (UV, pluie, T°) - atelier de dépôt : sérigraphie, spray, cabine de peinture..
As a leader in intelligent materials with programmed color change, OliKrom designs innovative custom coatings with controlled, reversible or irreversible color change. OliKrom's technological know-how in the field of thermochromic, photochromic, piezochromic and solvatochromic smart materials covers a wide range of applications: Structural Health Monitoring (SHM), MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) applications, modification of visual appearance, shock detection, temperature overrun detection, gas detection, anti-counterfeiting, visibility improvement, etc. OliKrom is both: - designer (outsourced R&D for its customers, creation of intelligent pigments) - formulator (matrix, deposits, characterization) - industrial producer (inks, paints, masterbatches, varnishes, resins, etc.) Thanks to its rare expertise in materials science, OliKrom supports 70 major industrial companies in all sectors in their innovation efforts each year. OliKrom relies on a multidisciplinary team of doctors, engineers and technicians on its 1600m2 industrial site located in Pessac. It includes 3 laboratories and 1 deposit workshop: - R&D laboratory for pigment design (rotavapor, oven, tank, oven...) - R&D laboratory for ink, paint and varnish formulation (Tricylinders, grinders, dispersers, etc.) - analysis and characterization laboratory: reflectivity, spectrometers, spectrofluorimeter, climatic aging test chamber (UV, rain, T°) - deposition workshop: silk-screen printing, spray, paint booth...
