Two types of projects
Cooperative (or R&D) projects, stimulated by the great synergy between industry, education and research, are the driving forces in the cluster’s dynamics. In order to facilitate their emergence, Aerospace Valley is organized to address nine strategic business sectors:
- Energy, Engines, Propulsion Systems and Access to Space
- General Engineering and Collaborative Automated Production
- Embedded Systems
- Maintenance and Services
- Aero-Mechanics, Materials and Structures
- Living Earth and Space
- Autonomous Aeronautics and Space Systems
- Air Transport Safety and Security
- Navigation, Positioning and Telecommunications
Calls for projects for the innovation platforms initiated by the government in 2008 and 2010 support this initiative and will provide high-level shared resources to serve SMEs.
